All previous versions had a standard USB B connector - this has a very flimsy USB C. This has one jack input and a second input which is a shared either/or mic/jack input. The previous version has TWO mic inputs plus TWO jack inputs. The previous version has TWO MIDI interfaces.
They have always been on a parr with similar Tascam products but, n my experience, have always had the edge -UNTIL NOW! Whatever are your product marketing people trying to do? Comparing this with the previous M-Track (of which I have 4 for studio work and for lecturing) this is a very poor relation.
I have used similar M-Audio products for over a decade from their early "Audiophile" through to their M-Track 2 (the one before this) and also their studio rackmount products, the Delta 1010 and the M-Track 8.
